moniaak: 5.0 out of 5 stars Great bait boxes
We have kids and animals in our area and you need bait stations if this is the case. These work perfect in storing the poison and getting the issue resolved in a clean and hidden manner.
DavyA: 5.0 out of 5 stars Well they have gone!!
We get rats in the garden every now and since Covid they seem worse. We have used this poison and so far so good. We have used a different version of the same ingredients before but a different presentation and not sure if they get wise. Certainly looks quiet for the time being.
Rationabilis: 5.0 out of 5 stars We are ready for when they turn up in the cold season...
Store these somewhere safe and away from children. Wear gloves and use a trap for your safety and your pets/children. It is poison after all!50 blocks, 10g each, that is 28p each, £1.40 per trap (with five blocks in), so you get 10 chances to finish off the problem, hopefully should be enough. I think we would just use three blocks in a trap for mice, five seems excessive...Cheap when you consider the damage rodents can cause to property. We have had mice turn up every winter since we moved here four years ago, last year they ate their way through a large stock of sunflower seeds! Hopefully this brand will stop them, hubby has tried a few different blocks, these look similar to others available. I am assuming they will do a five star job, but if they don't work, I will update this review.
SmartUK: 5.0 out of 5 stars Not the nicest thing to have to buy, but a problem needed to be solved and this worked.
I put off having to set a baited trap and hoped the problem would go away on its own, but of course it just got worse. I started to see rats climbing over my shed roof, up the fence, and I found them drinking from my pond. As there are children living next door I was concerned about them getting unwell from the rats living in the neighbourhood and thought a trap would be safer in my garden than theirs.I was squeamish about setting it - I hate the idea of killing animals just for existing, but I'm also aware that they are potentially dangerous rodents to share space with. The final straw came when I noticed one spider-manning it up the outside of the my house wall and I got concerned about them setting up home in the loft.I set the trap near a hole in the ground they had dug out. I didn't check on it too often but after a few weeks I stopped seeing the rats. I guess it did the job. This top-up twin pack of bait will ensure the problem doesn't come back.
BA BA : 5.0 out of 5 stars Standard sized bail blocks in a good value package
These are a standard sized 10g bait block using the fairly common Difenacoum 0.0025% and Denatonium 0.001% 'recipe'. The pack I received in September 2023 had been made in April 2023 and showed an expiry date of 04/2025 which is as good as you usually see on these baits. The product packaging consisted of 2 packs of 25 blocks and the weight of 2 packs was a few grams over the promised 500g net so that's all looking good. Hopefully the mice agree . .
