I'm not sure... bloody mice wouldn't stand still long enough for me to spray this on them!!!Sorry, couldn't resist, but on a serious note, no one really wants to admit to having a mouse or rat problem in their home and this is definitely an indoor product. But, if you do have a problem you need to do something about it and if you don't have a problem, believe me you really don't want one.If you already have these nasties in your home, spray this wherever you think they are hiding out and hopefully they'll decide to pack up and leave. For the squeamish, don't worry, this won't hurt them, they just hate the smell. Don't spray it around windows and doors until your visitors leave or you'll just be trapping them in the house. If you want to avoid the little critters coming into your home - autumn and winter are the worst times as surprisingly enough they quite like central heating - spray this around windows and doors and they wont want to cross the threshold. You can also spray some on a cotton ball and leave it next to doors, windows, airbricks etc for a double kick.£13.99 at time of purchase might seem a little steep, but is nothing compared to calling in an exterminator and is also cheaper than traps. Unlike poison, this spray is humane and safe, your pets aren't going to get poisoned either licking it or eating a poisoned rat or mouse. On a final mouse/rat note, if you have ever smelled dead mouse or rat in your house I'm pretty sure you'll never want to do that again. If you haven't, then use this spray and you'll never need to.Happily, spiders are another pest that really doesn't like the smell of peppermint. You can clear out all the conkers you are currently putting in the corner of your rooms to scare them away (never found it works personally) and in addition to spraying round windows and doors you can spray at any obvious spider entry point.

We have a problem with two rats in our garden - they come along to eat the wild bird food we put out. One of them got inside the house and created a lot of damage overnight - luckily we found how he got in and blocked that entrance.Wanting to rid ourselves of the rats without harming them, we put down a safe trap - failed! The fact is Rats are very smart creatures. So we are now trying this Mouse Repellent Spray. We have not seen a rat since! Only a few days have passed and it might be a coincidence that the rats have not turned up, but we are hopeful.The product is very easy to use. We have sprayed the 'path' that we know the rats use. The only downside I can think of is that we will get through the spray very quickly if heavy rain returns. It's certainly worth a try if you have a problem with rats (or mice).
